A belated birthday wish to you, Mark!

It sounds like it was a nice day, nice weekend. I’m just so happy for you that God has given you so much healing. He must have some wonderful things planned for you yet to do on this earth.

If nothing else, He has allowed you to be quite an inspiration to so many with your faith and courage as you’ve gone through the past few years.

May you have many more wonderful birthdays ahead of you…and many days of feeling God’s blessings on you and your family.

Hugs,
Tori

Dear Mark,

As I was jogging this morning, I called out your name in prayer! And I also recounted how many weeks have gone by since I departed on the first out-of-town trip of my first full summer here in Kittanning. I rejoiced in your healing, urged God to extend that wholeness which is yours, and also realized that I was away from home or occupied with special events here in town (like Vacation Bible School) for about ten weeks in a row. Boy, I am so happy to be home for a good stretch now!

Thanks for the good report on preaching and testifying in Pikeville and celebrating your birthday. Your report about seeing “The Wizard of Oz” at Jenny Wiley really delighted me! I am so glad you were able to enjoy that, and I am reminded of how I wish Bev and I were able to travel to Prestonsburg and take in a drama there yet this summer. A couple of years ago we went to see “Beauty and the Beast” there, and had such a delightful time.

Things are off to a great start with my second year here in Kittanning! The Lord gave me special favor as I preached yesterday morning, and I am rejoicing in His hand upon me in these days.

Your words in your first August posting really were a blessing to me. I confess with gratitude, Mark, that you have taught me to savor the blessing of every-day health! Yes, as much as I appreciate God’s gift of divine healing (like that you are experiencing), I value even more the gift of divine health. Yes, praise the Lord!

It’s good to be back in touch with you!

Blessings!

Stan
