Mark came home from the hospital today. He is still on pain medication, but is getting around fairly well. He will have two weeks to recover before returning to the doctor. He will see his surgeon and his oncologist then, and they will revise the plan of attack for eliminating the cancer. [...]

Mark underwent surgery yesterday for the two metastatic tumors remaining in his liver. The surgery lasted twice as long as predicted, but was successful. One tumor was found and ablated (destroyed). The second tumor they were unable to find, even with ultrasound, so apparently it has continued to respond to the chemotherapy and [...]
